Young Boy Saves Little Sister from Brutal Dog Attack

A brave 6-year-old boy from Wyoming, named Bridger Walker has proven himself to be a real-life superhero for his heroic deed in saving his little sister’s life. Bridger and his four-year-old sister were playing in the backyard of a friend’s home when the nightmare unfolded. An aggressive dog had gotten loose and suddenly ran in the children’s direction in rare attack mode. The dog first charged at the young girl prompting her big brother to vigilantly protect his sister by any means necessary.
Bridger courageously risked his own life by jumping in between the dog and his sister offering himself as a shield. He selflessly took the brunt of the attack by coming to her rescue. The dog’s attention was diverted to Bridger whom he leaped on and viciously started attacking. The wounded boy was still able to grab his sister’s hand and quickly bring her to safety.
Bridger subsequently underwent a two-hour surgery requiring 90 stiches to his face following the attack. He suffered severe wounds on this mouth, left cheek and on his eye. The courageous young boy is on the mend and recovering at home. When asked what motivated him to take such swift action, he simply said, “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.”
The young boy’s incredible act of bravery did not go unnoticed as he captured the hearts of millions who read his Aunt’s Instagram story. He also received words of praise and get well wishes from a few “Avengers” movie heroes. Captain America himself. actor Chris Evans sent Bridger a special private message telling the young hero, “what you did was so brave and so selfless, your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother.” Actor, Chris Hemsworth, AKA, Thor, also paid tribute to Bridger by making him an honoree member of the Avengers’ squad. “We would be honored to have you on the team. Your courage is beyond belief, and we are just so impressed by you,” he told the delighted young Marvel hero fan. Bridger was clearly in great spirits sitting side by side with his little sister, adorably wearing his Captain America uniform while listening to the well-deserved praise from his own heroes.
Bridger’s selfless act motivated by his devotion to his little sister perfectly demonstrates the value of loyalty. His loyalty to his sister reminds us of the loving bond between siblings. His actions are an example of how we can all strive to protect a loved one, a neighbor or a stranger from harm. Bridger put the well-being and safety of another ahead of his own which is exactly the type of person PassItOn celebrates. That's a great story, that's what big brothers are for. In my case when I was young my little brother tried to save me his big sister from a brutal dog attack. He is a hero go Bridger Walker take care of lil sister.
