Sanjay Gupta is a physician and a CNN newscaster who covered the news in Haiti and went to Haiti during the earthquake. He is a physician first and a newscaster second and he saved many lives and provided free services to the injured while he was in Haiti and spent more time treating the injured than reporting the news, although he did both. Sanjay isn't seeking recognition as he is a devoted physician and an outstanding newscaster and he receives gratification by doing his best in whatever he does. Sanjay Gupta is a humble person who is appreciated by all who come in contact with him. He is my hero because he represents the highest qualities a human being is able to achieve and it shows in his voice and body language whenever he is seen and heard by anyone, especially the people of Haiti who react with tears in their eyes as they love him beyond any love most people have ever had the fortunate opportunity to experience. In my opinion Sanjay Gupta deserves to receive the Nobel Peace Prize as he is responsible for bringing peace and hope to the unfortunate people of Haiti and Haiti will never forget him. What most people don't see is what Sanjay continues to do by still going to Haiti to help treat the injured who are still suffering while still maintaining his medical practice and continuing to be a newscaster on CNN. Sanjay Gupta is a true hero in the finest sense and an outstanding role model for all, and he is my hero and always will be.
