The person I am writing about is Lewis Geter. He is my basketball coach who for a while now, has been training me and getting me in condition so I could make the basketball team. He is the person I look up to because he is such a hardworking man. He never gives up, and he is one of the strongest people I know because of it. He also is one of the best basketball players I've ever seen. He played college basketball at the University of Ohio. From there he was drafted by the New York Knicks in the NBA. He got me into shape for basketball by making me push myself, and it helped me a lot because now I know how to really work for something. He also helped me develop a way to have fun while training, and I think that will get me a very long way. That's why the person I look up to is Lewis Geter. And no matter how old I get I will always remember him, and all the things he has done for me.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
