Emily is an amazing person; And because of that,I look up to her. She is a 22 year-old woman that graduated from George Mason University and is my sister. There are a number of reasons why she is my role model.
For one, Emily is very smart. She went to governor's school (like I want to) and graduated from high school with honors. Somehow, she knows a lot of the questions on Jeopardy! Emily is also very friendly. Of course, she doesn't like everyone, but I've never heard of anyone that doesn't like her.
Along with that, Emily is very respectful. Whenever I am around her, she is very polite. No matter how comfortable she is around anyone, she always minds her manners. When I was younger and Emily came home from high school, I either heard stories about a hard assignment or some annoying person, but never about her getting in trouble.
She is also honest. Well, I really can't even imagine her telling a lie, and I've never heard of her telling one, either. Emily is also very loyal. When she was in college, she would come home almost every weekend to see us.
Another one of Emily's traits is thoughtfulness. If I pick up the phone and she wants to talk to someone else, she'll still start a conversation with me anyway. That really means a lot to me. Also, she is a very good listener. Whenever we talk on the phone, there is never a moment where I feel she is bored or not paying attention.
I love my sister very much and she has and always will be the person that I look up to.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
