One person I look up to is one of my best friends Mathew. He is friendly, hard working, funny, trustworthy, helpful, and determined. He is friendly because, when we first met we did not know anyone but we quickly became friends. He is hard working because, he spent a whole hour studying for his civic test. He is funny because, one night we had to go get mother's keys and this was in Washington so there was a lot of walking to the car. Right when we closed the door of the car the clouds quickly covered the sun leaving the earth to a dark place and it started to pour down rain. So he started to sing "I'm singing in the rain". He is trustworthy because, we would never tell a lie (well to each other). He is helpful because , he made me understand English. He is smart because, he remembered the whole preamble in one class. He is colorful because, he hates to write in pencil because "the page looks sad" so he steals my pens. Mathew is a lot of things, most people call him strange. I call him James and that's why I look up to him.
