One day in high school, I saw a crowd of students in the hall watching a 6'4" senior pick up a 5' freshman and hook his pants belt to a hook high upon the wall where he hung there in humiliation as the students below him laughed. A dark haired 5'7" student pushed his way through the crowd, reached up and unhooked the student with no fear. He was my hero, my knight in shinning armor, in my heart for life. That was 42 years ago.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
