My son Jacob is currently battling cancer and going through chemotherapy. He is 15 years old and has already had an extreme bone cancer surgery that removed seven inches of his thigh bone. Because he was inspired by the needs of leukemia patients at his children's hospital, Jacob organized a bone marrow drive in his hometown to hopefully help others in need of bone marrow transplants. Jacob will not need this treatment for himself, but just wanted to help others. He was successful by registering 80 people to be potential donors. He wants to repeat the bone marrow drive every year and possibly save lives. We are so very proud of him.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
