My Hero is my Dad...though he has been gone almost 7 years. After being diagnosed with ALS, he never once complained, moaned, groaned or felt sorry for himself. Up until the day he laid unconscious and passed, he wanted all of us, wife, daughters, son-in-laws, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to stay positive and to remember the wonderful person he had been prior to his withering. I think of you daily, Dad, and call on you often to help me continue to live by your code of "heroism".

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
