My hero is my adopted Grandma Phyllis Bingham. She has taken in a total of 25 foster kids in including babies going through drug withdrawls in addition to raising 4 of her own kids. She is an amazing, strong woman who has always been there for me no matter what the situation. Currently in her spare time she is writing memoirs about her life, her family and I had the memoirs put into a published book that way they can be passed around and learned from for many years to come. In addition to that she has done years of history research for the town I grew up in.
She makes a difference daily in the lives of many and is always looking for a way to help people, including me from the time I was 8-9 years old!

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
