An Idol, someone who inspires you to do great things. Someone who will make you believe what they believe. Tim Kapinos, a leader, my idol, does great things everyday. That why he is my idol, I want to be like him and develop my skills and personality like Tim.
Tim motivates me to win. In wrestling he pushes me, my team, and himself. He is a great
coach by being organized, pushings us, and making sure we reach our goals. He makes us reach our goals by telling us what to do when we are wrestling. Tim shows so much passion for me, and my team. He inspires me to win my wrestling matches and practice hard every day. After practice he tells me, in the locker room, “Bret you work to hard to not make it to state. Good job today.” He inspires me by doing what he does everyday in practice, our wrestling meets, and our wrestling tournaments. He puts so much time into everything he does, and that's what I want to do when I grow older. Tim does not just motivate me on the wrestling mat, but off the mat too.
Tim is my idol off the wrestling mat because he is such a good person. He motivates me to be that person who does great things, without the bad decisions. Tim helped me in the past multiple times, learn from my mistakes and fix them so they do not recur in the future. Tim helps his community. He helps build things in the community with his construction class, by volunteering his class time. Having a schedule so packed tight, he always finds time for the important things, family. Family means the life to him, he always gets home at night for them, and he never blows them off. He is a loyal man, and honest man to himself and his family. This taught me that family is everything in anyone's life. It motivates me to make and spend time with them whenever I can, and make time for them everyday. Tim teaches his students well. His teaching style will teach anyone and everyone. Kapinos does not just tells you what to do, but he will show you and do an example of how to do it for all learning styles, like auditory, visual, and hands-on learning. Teaching me how to use my time wisely, I now work on other classwork when I finish other assignments during class. This helps me do what I want after school and other activities. Tim is not only a great person, but a great friend. He is someone you can just sit down and talk to, and have a good laugh with. I see him in the hallway and sometimes we just start talking about whatever, like wrestling, life, and school.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
