Thankful

As I was leaving my doctor's office after an appointment, I somehow dropped a check from my purse in the parking lot without knowing. I had pulled the check out of the checkbook in the office for my co-pay, but the girl at the desk said I didn't have to pay one this time because it was a physical appointment. So, I guess must have shoved the check back into my purse without putting in back into my wallet.

Three days later in my mailbox was an envelope from someone I did not recognize. It was a business card from an office manager in another doctor's office in the same building who found the check that afternoon in the parking lot. She wrote a short note on her business card and mailed the check and the card to the address on the check! Back to ME! I was so surprised to receive that envelope, especially knowing the identity theft issues we face in our country today. I quickly returned a short thank you note and a small gift card to a wonderfully honest woman, whom I've never met. Thank you, for the chance to share my story. Your TV ads are SO inspiring!
