New York's Foundry Theater is making a new theater piece about "Value" - in all its poetic iterations: quantitatively through our relations to money and qualitatively by asking what we hold dear. "Asking" is the operative word since the play is actually constructed of questions, posed by 3 performers to audience members onstage, about how they've lived their lives, what plans they're making for the future and what advice they can offer to us and to one another as we all attempt to create lives of VALUE. The project provides a unique opportunity to gather our communities to consider together the ways our values impact the world that we create. The VALUE PROJECT will continue workshops in May, development at Emerson College in Boston this fall and will open at The Foundry Theater in New York October 2011.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
