My sister and I were 12 years apart. She was severely physically handicapped, but still had the biggest heart I could ever imagine. I told her EVERYTHING, I wanted to be just like her. My parents didn't understand this because I was blessed with being me. To me, I was not good enough, especially to her standards. Although she could not talk, she still showed unconditional love to me and the rest of our broken family. She struck happiness into everyone that surrounded her and deserved nothing but the best. Unfortunately during the worst times that our small family endured, she passed away. Since then I have enormous walls up that I haven't let anybody break into, no matter how hard they have tried. I love everyone dearly but I would give anything to have her back. She is one of the very few people that I would have laid down my life for. I love her dearly and I honestly hope to make her proud while I am here. I want people to see her through me. The world really needs her.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
