You're Worth It

Everything starts in September 22, a girl was born in Puerto Rico, named Angelina. She was in this word for a purpose. And in November 27 her brother Alex was born. When she was 2 years old her mom broke up with her dad leaving him and all her family and move to a far away place. But nobody knew why. Her mom was now alone with her two kids, she had to look for a job and somebody to take care of her kids. And she did, she got a nice job but she didn't got a nice babysitter. She treated the kids like animals, I don't think she even like kids. But when her mother found out she took the kids and found a better babysitter. Her mom left church and she never went to another church, so they were always in the house or at her mom's friend's house. It was fun, they laugh, they dance, they talk. But when Angelina was 9 years old, her life changes. Her mom got invited to a church and her mom wanted to go. She went to the church and met a lot of good people, and she met a guy, called Robert. She started seeing that guy, like when it was her lunch time he was waiting for her to go to eat. And moths later she told Angelina and Alex that she was getting married with Robert. Angelina was surprised and shocked, she wasn't sure if it was a great idea, but her mom looks so happy that Angelina had no choice but to accept. So the day of the wedding came, and for Angelina's mom that was the perfect day. All her family and friends were there. She was really happy, so Angelina thought she made the right choice. Months later of the wedding she saw that her relationship with Robert was changing, but that he was too close to her. And one night he got into her room and made things that Angelina didn't want to. Angelina told her mom like a week later, her mom really got mad, but Robert said he was sorry so her mom believed him. Angelina was really sad about that decision, even though she was just 9 years old she knew what's right and what's wrong, and what her mom is doing, wasn't right. Robert kept touching her for 7 years. Angelina was 15 know, full of sadness, of hate. She hated her life, she was not just being sexual abused but mentally abused too, she felt useless and she didn't even love herself. She was tired of living in that house so she decided to move, to Florida with her aunt. She lied to her family saying that she wanted to learn more english and have more opportunities in life, they believed her so they sent her to Florida and then they talked with her mom, she was sad but she accepted, but Robert wasn't okay. He was scared that she will talk, now that her family didn't know she was being sexually abused. She was now like 7 months living in Florida, and she started seeing a church, she really liked it she could be herself and not be judged, and she really liked the people in that church. Her pastors wife Maria knew something was wrong with Angelina, and she talked to her saying her full story to her, Maria knew that Angelina needed help, so she talked with her husband, and they both helped Angelina a lot. Those Pastors mean a lot to Angelina, she felt loved with them. On summer those Pastors went with Angelina to Puerto Rico to get her mom out of the house and get her brother too. And they did, Angelina was so happy. She had her mother by her side now. Everything was turning okay to Angelina, her family now knows about her story and they support her. Everyone wants the best for her. Even though now Angelina haves 17 years old, shes gonna graduate from High School, she haves a lot to work on still, like loving herself. But she realized that she is worthless, shes worth a lot, and she's really strong. Know she haves a boyfriend who loves her so much, and its her pastors son. She's happier than she ever been.

-That girl was me, my name is not really Angelina, but its close, all those name are false. But the story is true. It was hard for me, but i made it. And if I made it Everyone can. If you are passing through the same thing as me. Don't give up, your worth it, be strong and look for help. Like i did
