recently I've been dealing with really bad PTSD not just mentally but also physically. My coach, a man that I looked up to as a dad recently started being extremely inappropriate but things changed when he put his crotch in my teammates face. I witnessed the whole thing and haven't been the same since. It's been 6 months and I still live through that horrific night every day, I still have constant nightmares of him, I still have really bad panic attacks when I think about it, I still cry daily about what happened, I get ill frequently because my body can't handle the stress, I have to go to therapy twice a week and lastly its been 2 months and 15 days since my hand started tremoring violently because of how scared I am of him and require going to physical therapy 3-4 times a week. This is only one of my stories that no one knows about and even when people make snarky comments about me missing a lot of school because "I don't want to go to school" you stick up for me every single time when I'm too broken to even think about saying anything back and I'm forever grateful to call you my best friend. I can never repay you

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
