I've been in a deep depression for two years now. I've lost everything: my pets, my self esteem, and especially my brother. Life was absolute torture for me. I was constantly bullied in school, I was punched in the face, and I was exploited to the highest content.
I couldn't take it anymore. I decided to attempt suicide by holding a phone charger to my neck, hoping for the electricity from the charger to shut down my nervous system. Thank goodness my father came in when he did. I then started going to therapy, and I felt much better.
But, I was still losing hope. I was 15, single, and had a broken heart. Then, she came along. The love of my life that I'm with to this day, Ebony. I love her so much, and she loves me too. I may be from New Hampshire, and she may be from Scotland, but our love is still stronger than ever!
My message to those who are having the same problems as I did is just never lose hope. Even if life is knocking you down on the ground, just get right back up, stand strong, and take on life, and make it the way you want it to be!

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
