I am a little kid, age 11, So I'm a little sensitive. When I was around 7, My favorite cat, Meatloaf, had to be put down because of kitty cancer. At first I just shut everyone that I loved. Then I started bullying. My grandmother saw what had happened to me and she rounded up my, small but awesome, group of friends. She said that it was sort of an intervention for me. She said that everyone who knew Meatloaf enough was missing him and that I wasn't the only one suffering. My friends explained situations that they themselves had gone through. Most of them teared up and just for me. I had realized that I WASN'T the only one suffering. Everyone had problems, and together we can face them.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
