My former wife is an amazing individual. She works as a behavior analyst, and has been helping injured others achieve a much greater quality of life. In one of my proudest specific memories, she facilitated a transition for a man who was in an ALF, brain-injured, from wearing diapers in a wheelchair to independent living. She has since dedicated her life to helping autistic children find their way in the world. She recently opened her own practice due to a seemingly aggressively driven corporate approach in the field. Her priority is helping children, with a much more family oriented treatment program that places quality over quantity. This has resonated soundly with parents in the community, and she is achieving great success. Tish took on massive responsibility to achieve this goal. She also tirelessly cares for our 10 year old daughter, with all the responsibilities, trials, and tribulations that that entails. I am so proud of the woman that she has become, and she is most definitely a hero.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
