Grieving (Fly High Dana Wilson Jr.)
On March 7, 2022 my only little brother passed away at home in his bed. This has been one of the hardest things to deal with. I dont think a day goes by that i dont find myself breaking down crying. I think my eyes are puffy did alot of crying yesterday..omg this is really bothering me! I don't even think I know how to be strong...thinking on memories not enough you want the person here with you. You never know how much you miss a person until they are gone,!!! Bless his heart he was trying so hard.. I think about when he first got shot he seen the boy with the gun to my face and Dana just knew he felt like he had to do something to protect us and he did but got shot twice in chest bullet hit all major body parts in his body...days we go to hospital they didn't want him eating nor drinking nothing and him saying "Shanice can you get me something" it was hard telling him "no Dana I can't they don't want us to give you anything" then having to leave him...as time went on he finally got to that stage to where he can eat and drink something..but that hurt look he had knowing he couldn't walk just yet..he made alot of progress alot of progress,!!! To me he was just missing my daddy trying to find his way and purpose in life it was hard it wasn't easy..on top of that wanting to feel accepted..plenty days I dropped him off at good hope academy telling him to becareful and stay out the way because deep down inside you know your sibling you know..he just wasn't that kind of person but he couldn't let that be known...I felt like he was my son sometime as much as I would be worried about him when he was at good hope..oh my God I just would like to see him and hug and tell him I love him and see his smile!! I will forever miss him❤️

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
