This father of four lives by the example of volunteerism. For Easter Seals, he chairs his company's softball & volleyball yearly tournaments. He mountain bikes for charities: American Diabetes & National MS Society. He's a Ride leader for Pedro's Festival, Lanesboro. He was a volunteer at the Franklin Blades Skating School where he nurtures beginner ice-skaters. He's active at Iskwelahang Pilipino, weekend cultural school & serves yearly at Lowell International Folk Festival. He assists with Wide Horizons for Children's annual cultural event. A member of National Federation of Filipino American Associations promoting the welfare of Fil-Ams, he served as MC, gratis to their events. He helped raise funds for victims of 9-11 tragedy. He donates blood regularly to the American Red Cross. For the Health Organization for the Poor Enterprise (HOPE), which provides assistance to those devastated by natural disasters, he was in the Philippines for a Premedical mission in 2001 and continues to support HOPE's efforts. For his 40th birthday in 2003, in lieu of gifts, family and friends made donations to Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer in his honor.
