I see this man every day on the streets of Albuquerque helping every person he can. He'll go any where to help people. I once saw him stop two gang members from fighting. Then remarkably he offered them prayer and helped them both with a bite to eat! I never understood why he was like that until my mother told me Rev. Gill used to be in a gang himself and because of his experiences, he has always said those people have his heart!
I have since seen him invite the homeless over to eat food at his house, and help numerous people find food and shelter. I have seen him give his own coat to an elderly person even though he was shivering himself. And he does it all with a smile on his face. I just wanted to say thanks to Rev. Gill. He acts like he doesn't know it, but he is a true hero!

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
