We lost our home to a house fire in 2005. In 2008, my husband was working on a huge wildfire at Lake Tahoe Nevada that burned over 300 houses. Our then 8 year old said she knew how the kids felt who lost all of their toys and she knew she had to help. She created her own non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping children replace all of their toys after fires and natural disasters. Since 2008 her organization "ASHLEE'S TOY CLOSET" has donated over 100,000 toys to children all across the country who have been devastated. Her organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping replace children's toys. She is an amazing kid who felt a loss and saw the need to make a change. She is awesome.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
