My daughter is my hero. She was born early and deathly ill, she was not supposed to make it, but she did. She fought for her life in the NICU for 2 months. She has Cerebral Palsy and is a severe quad. She amazes me daily. Never gives up. She is assisted in every thing she does. She never complains, just goes with the flow and is full of laughter and smiles. She is 4 years old. She tries to move in ways she isn't supposed to, she never gives up. I hold her so she feels what standing is like. She cannot hold her head up but if you ask her to pick her head up she does it even though it takes a huge amount of energy for her to do so! She is the perfect example of courage, love and inspires me to be a better person and mother!

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
