Today I met a 60 year old woman working at Walmart by the name of Pearly. Pearly was on her break. As I sat waiting for my tax return, hoping it would be enough to pay my bills, since I am without a job and a single mother. I realized after speaking to Pearly, that this woman on her break not only was raising her grandson and caring for him, all by herself, but that she was also back in school to learn a trade so that she is able to earn more money to live and make ends meet. It took her a year and a half to find the job at Walmart and is working nights. At 60 years old,I find it incredible that she is such a strong woman and works so hard to provide for her grandchild. Just as I was feeling down and hopeless, this gave me inspiration to keep fighting and doing my best. To stay strong and keep searching for work and apply for school to complete my education. Eventually, my hard work will pay off and I will soon find employment and success. Thank you, Pearly!

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
