When I think about what I want to be like when I get older, I always think of my mom. She is the strongest, most loving, honest, caring, incredible person I know. She is the person I go to first when I have a problem. The person I talk to about my worries, my thoughts, my questions, my problems and much more. I remember my mother always working to support my siblings and I. Even though she and I have had our differences, at the end of the day we always say I love you. She has always been there for me, through the smiles, the tears, the hugs, the arguments, the opinions, the fights, the problems, and the laughs. In this life and the next, through thick and thin, I love her with everything I have. She is my best friend, my guardian, my teacher, my role model, my mother but most of all she is my hero.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
