My grandmother used to own a restaurant when I was younger. She had about 16 kids herself and never had much money but when the opportunity came for her to work for herself she did. She was a strong Christian woman. All of her food was southern home-cooked food and she would set it up as a buffet for her customers. She had set prices and would come around to your table to give you the bill. But, if she didn't think you could afford the price she would discount the meal, and if she didn't think you could afford it at all she would give you the meal for free. She gave to each customer what the Lord gave to her, LOVE. All of her customers used to call her Ma Kelly because to her they were all her children.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
