My nephew, my most adorable perfect nephew. He was born on 11.16.94...we knew he had down syndrome and we were prepared.....he had other conditions that weren't connected. I am so very thankful he his here with us. My sister was told he would be on a "bag" for at least a year (praise God it was less than 6 months). She was also told he wouldn't walk before he was 5 (he was walking at 2). My sister was told he would never truly talk (he will talk your ear off, unless he's mad at you). This posting is for my most adored, loved and respected nephew, but also for his wonderful, faithful, dedicated parents; they NEVER treated him different, never made him different, he is the young man he is (WONDERFUL and known by everyone) because they chose to make him the man he is which, is what every parent is supposed to do! Thank you Sissy and Rell for giving me one of the best gifts,in addition to my children. I have learned so much through that most handsome man of mine!!!!! I LOVE U HUNT-MAN!!!!!!!

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
