When I met Mary it was an encounter that would turn out to be a lifetime of love lessons. This woman was no ordinary woman. She was to be used as an instrument of lesson for me. The lesson of true love. Her generosity of love helped me conquer hate and resentment. I was taught to look outside the box and that love was to be the most powerful weapon for negative situations. Two years ago she passed and in her passing it was as if she left behind the baton. I would never try to fill her shoes but trying to follow her philosophy of love has helped me find my own shoes to build so that when I pass I hope I can leave behind a trail of LOVE just like Mary did.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
