My hero is my beautiful daughter, Taryn Anita, who selflessly gave me a kidney almost two years ago and literally saved my life. She was 23 years old at the time and wouldn't take NO for an answer. She graduated college a month and a half before the transplant and majored in Ag.Business with a minor in Equine Science. I am proud to say she has a full time job at Farm Supply and manages a local horse ranch and boarding facility. Ironically enough, she was the 7th person tested to be my donor and we just found out recently the real name of the facility she manages is the Lucky 7 Ranch !!! Quite a fitting name for the angel that gave me so much. Don't ever give up on your dreams and don't sweat the small stuff. It doesn't take much to believe.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
