My hero has got to be Rob Dyrdek. The reason why I chose Rob Dyrdek as my hero is because I want to be like him when I am older. He is like a little kid living in a twenty-six year old body, everything he does is fun. He is a Pro skateboarder who gives back to his skaters. He developed a program called “Safe Spot Skate Spot” which is a bunch of skate parks around Los Angeles that kids can go and skate without worries about the cops because skateboarding is still illegal there so he wanted to do something about it. The best part is that all the skate parks he designed, he paid for with his own money. He is also one of my favorite skaters. He always tries to help out his family as much as possible. He is also pushing and progressing the sport into new levels he gets all the skaters together. He also made a skateboard movie of how a skateboarder’s life truly is. It’s the best one I have seen yet. He uses real pro skateboarders in the movie and the story behind fits every skateboarder out there, no other skateboarding movie I have seen is like that. He does so much for the sport and gives back to the skater’s with his own money. He also just got a actual day in Los Angeles called Dyrdek Day it's February first and with Dyrdek Day he is asking “ Did You Really Do Everything Kind”. That is why he is my favorite skateboarder and that is also why he is my hero.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
