My hero is my Aunt Deb because she was a diabetic and made it through it and took care of me when I was sick when my parents were working. She was hooked up on 10 ivs, a breathing, eating tube and another tube, and also had surgery with all that. She was pretty much pronounced dead, but she came back to life. My aunt was a fighter, but she fought through it for four more months, and her body just couldn’t take it anymore. That is why my aunt Deb is my hero.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
