I have known Casey for almost 7 years. I first met her through basketball, when I was only in 4th grade. She was a 6th grader and she was already a phenomenal basketball player. She has a lot of confidence, but she is never cocky. She has a strong head on her shoulders and knows what she wants. She is very forgiving and calm during fights and rarely will she utter a mean word. She took time to help me and anyone else who needed help during practices. When I finally got into high school I made varsity first year and I got to play with her. A freshman on varsity is rare and it's a tough experience, but she helped me through it and never let me give up. She is a leader on and off the court and she is an inspiration to me and others.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
