“MY HERO”
Do you know what a hero is? A hero is a person that shows great courage.
My hero is Adam Bender. Adam is good at baseball and he shows respect. He is a cancer survivor. He had a large tumor in his leg. His leg was amputated at the hip. Adam’s wish is that all children, no matter what their ability, who want to play sports be given the chance. With the help of his family, he wants to start an organization that will help kids with physical challenges and be able to participate in sports. He is always ready to practice baseball. All the people were proud and cheering for Adam! His parents were also proud of Adam! He went back home! He had faced his challenge to play baseball! :) I’m proud of him! :)
