Bethany Hamilton is my hero because she never gave up. she went through a really tough and scary time in her life when she was 13. she was surfing along tunnel beach when a great white shark bite her arm off. she thought she could never surf again. Bethany's bravery and determination helped her learn how to surf though. it took some challenges but now she is a professional surfer and is living her dreams. Bethany has taught me to never give up. i appreciate her bravery and everything she went through.
