Emerson Grace went without oxygen at birth resulting in severe quad CP. From day one, her life has been a fight and she's beaten the odds to survive. This little girl has more heart and soul and not only inspires me to be a better person, but everyone who meets her. She works relentlessly for the things that come easily to others. At just 2 years and 8 months old, she spends hours and hours in therapy every day to try to learn to sit up, crawl, roll, stand, walk and eat. She has bad days and complains at times, who wouldn't. But she keeps going, fights through the pain and frustration of a body who doesn't do what she wants it to, and has the most amazing smile. She is my hero and should be a reminder to all of what's important in life.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
