The person I would like to recognize as my hero is Tanya Raab. You may recognize the name because she was the one who nominated my dad, Pete Raab. I wanted to shed light on the fact that my dad, has been blessed by finding and loving another hero. My stepmom, Tanya Raab has one of the biggest hearts out of anyone I know. She is hardworking, determined, and truly an inspiration to us all. Her determination, optimism, faith, and love are what have helped my dad through the challenges that come with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
She shows great strength and encouragement through each doctors appointment, every change in medication, and every "new" news and she helps bring light to even the darkest of situations!
She is the type of woman, the type of mother, that any man or daughter could ask for!
