To give them all the courage,
They may need to face their
Fears,
To let them see your open arms
And shoulder for their tears.
To give them open ears to hear them,
Not opinions or judging ways,
We simply pray for happiness
To fill their coming days.
But the greatest of all moments,
And one that can't be measured,
Is when a child provides you healing,
When your heart is torn or weathered.
The confidence you gave them,
Comes back to you tenfold,
When your child provides their wisdom,
And their open arms to hold.
No greater gift than knowing,
That the years you shall invest,
Are more precious than most anything,
And leads to all lives truly blessed.

My hero is my son Zack. At 22 he has grown into a brilliantly insightful, intelligent and empathetic gift to all who know him. Always seeking personal growth, he uses his wisdom to guide and motivate those closest to him and strangers alike.
Working by his side in our uniform store, I am in awe of his connection, care and concern he shows to everyone. I wish he could bottle his passion for life and learning and share it with the world.
Zack embraces his passion and expresses it through his music and written word, and he finds inspirational ways to encourage his friends and family to discover their passion as well.
I am blessed to call him my son, yet even more blessed just to know him. He is my hero.
