My Mom is my hero. As a single mom, she worked as a waitress or cook to raise four children. She worked every day no matter the weather or if she was ill. She road the bus to work or walked there if needed. We never had much, but we never felt deprived either. She was always there for us when we needed her. She set an example of how we should live our life, how we should work hard and love one another. She worked as a cook at a local school until she was 77. She is a wonderful loving person. I'm proud to call her my hero and for the world to know how wonderful she is.
