Lisa turned a job loss from an executive position and an extended period of unemployment into a passion for serving others. She has worked every weekend for many years doing equine therapy for special needs children. She not only volunteers in riding sessions, she has served in multiple leadership positions including now as President of White Bridle Society in Keller, TX. All of the hours including weekday evenings are 100% volunteer.
Lisa turned a setback into a passion for serving others and has not looked back since. In the process, she has earned the love and respect of many. She is the epitome of 'rising above' oneself to serve others. She expects no recognition for her tireless commitment however few are more deserving.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
