Irreplaceable, more than wonderful, incredible, the lovely daughter who at only 13 has done so much with her life that has been positive and life changing, not only for herself but as I parent I am constantly amazed by her. I knew would have imagined having kids, growing up as an only child – motherhood never crossed my mind. My daughter truly does teach me daily about life, and in turn is my hero. Born on Earth Day she is bound to make this world that we live in brighter and just a little more happier. Whether it is being a teacher’s aide to children with mental disabilities, to volunteering for the Special Olympics, to helping the Women’s Bean Project, running the 5K for helping to find a cure for the Susan G. Komen run, to paining off graffiti in the street of Metro Denver, to having me stop the car when driving to give a hug to a homeless woman in a wheelchair. Sometimes words are not enough to describe the feeling you have in heart when you see her acts of kindness, no one can imagine how I feel to call her my daughter, my daughter makes everyone feel that they matter. Nothing will stop her from helping those with less, she is amazing and I am so proud daily to call her my daughter – to others she is simply known as OLIVIA !!!

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
