My hero is Mr. McGuire. Mr. McGuire came to my school half way into the year as a stand in assistant principal. He couldn't have came at a better time, because without his help i don't know what would have happened my freshman year. He guided me through the rest of the year having weekly meetings just t talk about everything that had been going on at home, in life, and also all the ways i could work that week to improve my grades. Whenever i didnt have food or money he'd give me cash and told me to eat. He would always work with parents to get them to understand the things that were happening to me and the resoning behind it. Mr.McGuire helped me through a difficult time in life and i could never repay him enough. Although he did help me personally, he has helped so many other kids in similar situations his whole career and im sure everyone could agree that worked with Mr.McGuire, he became your in school grandpa. Teachers would always use that, better be careful or im going to have to call McGuire, i swear my attitude would change so quick. Mr.McGuire was not only the best principal ever but he most certainly became like a grandfather to me. This is why McGuire is my hero.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
