My hero is my mom, Pam Bostian. She is my hero because she helps others, is caring, and she has a hard working spirit. My mom builds barn quilts for many of people. Sometimes she gives them away to others that have done nice things not just for her but for other. My dad also was my hero but I just could not decide who to pick. My mom and dad hangs the quilts for other people. You might not think it is hard but the 8ft.-8ft. quilts are very heavy. It can take up to 2 hours to hang one. My mom and cousin Susan ( its my dads cousins wife) have to hand paint them all. They work for multiple days just on one. They work from about 7:00 am to 3:00 pm lots of days. My mom also is caring because she worked at a place that gave needy people groceries. She would hand out the groceries to people and they made hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies on Christmas or near Christmas. She also cares for our family and makes supper a lot. I also think she is hard working to do all of these things. She does not want to do everything just for her, instead she likes helping others. My mom is my hero.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
