My mom is the greatest influence in my life. She is always there for me and I can always count on her. She works everyday so I can have a good life. She pushes me to be the best I can be and expects nothing less. Whenever I wonder off the path she picks me up and straightens me out. She is not only a mother but a friend. When your down or need advice she is right by your side. There are no words to define the love I have for her. She is my life and without her I would not be me. I would not strive to get good grades. I would not know the love and kindness I see in her eyes. I would not know the desire of her happiness over mine. I would not know the love that is found only between a mother and a child. She exhibits all of my values, she is my role model. One I will always go to for help, advice, or simply a hug. She does so much for me and sometimes I take that for granted and don’t show her the appreciation she deserves. So I write this to show my everlasting love and gratitude to my best friend, greatest influence, mother, and hero, April.
