Is it strange to tell a story about a cat? I know cats don't have the higher moral capabilities humans are said to posses, but my cat is nothing if not persistent. And he's always pleasant about it. When he's ready to get up, he'll let you know. And if you don't get up, he'll persist in trying to wake you until he's sitting on your chest and the two of you are eye-to-eye. When he's hungry, he'll sit by his bowl until you feed him. If you don't notice him and he has to persist, he'll meow when he catches your eye. And when he wants to go out, he'll wait patiently by the door, being persistent until you let him back in. (It's the same thing when we wants to be let back in.) Yes, indeed, my cat is a great example of persistence. We could all learn a lesson or two from him.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
