A family friend sent me an email one day about this little girl, Little Miss Mary. The letter said that she was on the list for a lung transplant and requested help from the e-mail's recipients. The email was sent to many people who, when they read it, took action.
Mary and her family received cards, toys, and prayers from strangers who had been touched by the email message. Slowly, she started getting better. The doctors removed a few of her medical tubes, she can now sit-up, color, and eat on her own. Little Miss Mary was even taken off the list to have a transplant!.
Thanks to many people who took just a few minutes out of their day to help a stranger, this family found hope--And we may have helped this little girl! ~Katherine, 14, TN

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
