My story is a very simple one, because of a simple action. While standing in line at the local department store, I was asked by the customer in front of me if that particular store offered postage stamps. I stated that they did offer books of stamps, but the gentleman needed only one stamp, not an entire book of them. I began to look in my wallet and gave him one of my postage stamps, so he could take care of his letter.
I felt good inside, refused money for the stamp, and just told him to "pay it forward." The feelings I had in giving this simple item are much greater than any materialistic item I could have attained as a reward.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
