Each year around Christmas time, I go up to Ashland to visit my Grandma and my Grandpa. I stay at their house for about 2-3 days. We open up presents and enjoy each other's company. But on the last day before my family heads back to Wausau, I dedicate about an hour to my Great Grandma. She lives in a nursing home, and she is getting very old.
Every year my grandma, my mom, my sister, I all get in a car and drive to the nursing home that my Great Grandma stays in. Usually there is a cake and apple juice waiting for me, but not until after my performance'I love to play piano. I just love it, and the best thing is that I get to play it in front of the people that spend most of their day sleeping, or in pain, and just waiting for that moment of eternal sleeping. Just that one hour means the world to people. Every year I get better at the piano and soon I will be great. My first year doing this I wasn't very good, but it was the thought that counts. It's pure Dedication!

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
