I came out of church on a very cold winter day and was cleaning off my car when I saw a man standing at the bus stop in front of our church shivering wearing a sweat jacket but no coat. I asked where he was going and he told me to the bus station downtown to get home after being here for his father's funeral. I told him I would drive him and he was so surprised that he began to cry. When I dropped him off he asked me what he could do to pay me back and asked my name. I told him I would just like him to remember what someone did for him and to pass it on. He said his name was Bob and he packed very quickly when he got the call that his father died and was so upset that he never thought that it was winter here. He said that no one ever did anything like this for him in his whole life and that he would never forget this day. That made it all worth while.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
