As a geriatric home health nurse, I come across so many seniors having difficulties. I have been told by other nurses to be "more clinical" and not "spoil" my patients. Is it spoiling them to pick up their medications or wash their dishes? I am not ashamed to cry when one of them passes on. Without the joy they give me I would not know sorrow. At least they leave this world knowing in their last days they were loved!

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
