In middle school, I was involved in our school's NJHS. We did volunteer work for the community. Every year we held a charity basketball game. My NJHS instructor was one of those people who took their stress out on others. I was put in charge of making the fliers for the game. When I made them, I printed them out in color. When the teacher made copies of them in black and white, they turned out too dark. Instead of kindly asking me to remake them in grey scale, she yelled/lectured me about how they turned out too dark and I needed to fix this now... I had to hold my tounge, and not talk back to a teacher. Needless to say, throughout the year, this teacher taught me a lot bout how to respect my elders.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
